What cleaning needs to achieve

The surface should be free of contaminants and unsound material that would interfere with adhesion. The cleaning method, pressure and nozzle must be appropriate for the roof type and condition.

Cleaning is not restoration by itself

Pressure washing can reveal cracked tiles, failed coatings, rust or ridge defects, but it does not repair them. These findings should be assessed before painting proceeds.

• Protect suitable fixtures and surfaces

• Control debris and overspray
• Allow the substrate to dry as required
